Load me up! Paper this and paper that, I think all businesses and universities need to get out of the ‘paper’ phase. Using paper is so last year as far as I am concerned.
I have a couple suggestions that may help you out of the paper phase.
Universities: So at the beginning of each semester each student goes to the admin building to pick up a nice sized booklet of all the different classes available for the semester. Then they look at it and decide what classes they want to take, and lastly, they toss the booklet right into the garbage.
But wait, I have a solution to solve the garbage tossing problem. Universities administration team should preload the booklet onto a flash drive, and then students can put down a deposit and grab a flash drive, and then when they bring it back they can have their money back. Think of how many semesters/years a university could go on this preloading system without having to pay money every semester to get the booklets reprinted!
Businesses: You business people are always having conference calls or showing each other new ideas for projects, and a lot of other paper bearing things. You’re in luck, because I also have a solution for you! For example, if you just came up with an architectural design for a new building, but you have to get it approved by 12 other people, you can just preload it on to a flash drive.
When these other people put the drive into their computer, the layout will automatically pop-up, and then they can click on different links that will tell them the information they need to know. This will look very sharp in front of others! You can take your new ideas or information, or whatever it may be and put it onto the flash drive so you can have it whenever.
By preloading information onto flash drives, you will make your business/university look “so this year.” So do the right thing and load your flash drives up!
